EXPEDITION ACONCAGUA NORMAL ROUTE with ACCLIMATIZATION IN VALLECITOS

Our lead guide, Angel Armesto, will lead the next season 2 special expeditions to climb the colossus of America.

During the ascent to Cerro Aconcagua, the benefits are proven to acclimate in the Vallecitos area. Each season international companies use this strategy with excellent results. Its main benefits are improved adaptation to the altitude (in Vallecitos gain height with shorter hours and less stressful), reduces the chilling effect of the great mountains consolidating and building trust in group members. It also shortens the permanence and portages between base camp and high camps on Aconcagua, which ended up undermining the strength and courage of the climbers.

Versatile and charismatic, Angel is one of the most renowned Argentine guides worldwide. He has more than 50 expeditions on Aconcagua in the central Andes and guiding adventurers from around the world. Since 2005 is the only Argentine guide working in the Himalayas where he led expeditions to Lobuche, Ama Dablam, Mera Peak, Island Peak and in the last 2 seasons, reaching Mount Everest's summit on the southwest slope.

Right now is the way to Cho Oyu base camp, one of the 14 eight-thousands on the planet.
